Driving to Bella Terra
Posted by Robert on April 14, 2016 at 10:03 amWe are leaving on the 20th to Bella Terra (Foley, AL). We will get on I95 in Lumberton, NC and proceed to I20 in Florence, SC then on to Atlanta and down to Bella Terra. Does anyone know of a good safe overnight spot near Aiken, SC which apprears to be the half way point?

check the map for a place in Augusta just off i20 that comes recommended. We have not stayed there ourselves.
I would offer my bus barn but I will be out of town and had to cancel my Bella Terra reservations it also 12 miles off the super slab

Augusta RV Park is Heritage RV Park, 3863 Wrightsboro Rd, Augusta GA 706-863-3333.
I put it on the PC map.
2 turns off I20 on the west side of Augusta. No pull-thrus though. Nice clean place to stay. Owner Don is also an RV’er.
We are going to Bella Terra too – See you in Foley!

We just left Heritage RV Park in Augusta, staying 4 nights. There is 1 premium pull through in front. You should ask if thats available if your length is an issue. Heritage is a very nice park with more then enough room to unhook and back in. Don, took us to our site and guided us in. This park is being upgraded and someone is pouring serious dollars doing new curbs, grass, power boxes, water and sewer service, no tree issues , level pads and big rig friendly.
I would recommend this park to all PC members. No more then 1 mile off I-20 with Pilot truck stop also at this I-20 exit.
BTW….If you have interest in attending Masters / 2017 get on list …NOW. park was sold out 2016 during Masters event.
http://www.heritagervpark.com ……. park picture on web site is accurate

Thanks for the Augusta info. We are there now and they a reserved sign with my name on it at the pull through. Very clean facility. Departing 7am in the morning. Looking forward to “hot” Lanta traffic.
