Hello, everyone. I wanted to let you know that our pick up of the coach and the resulting drive home was a success. 640 miles of trial and tribulation. The coach ran great regardless of flat land or mountain passes.
Thank all of you for your postings and advice, and encouragement, for the drive. I was one nervous cat for the entire drive, but the coach is beautiful and comfortable, and provided us a great experience. We are already planning the next trip up to Charlotte to Concord Mills for a annual pre-Christmas outing. We are excited.
Thank all of you very much. It would be really great to have a Prevost Community Owners Meet Up in South Carolina. We all share a great appreciation for these big boy toys and now I understand why. I wish I had not waited so long for this to happen.

I am so pleased to see the introductions and the names popping up in this area that a Prevost owners. I just mentioned to Eric Schwalm that we need a Prevost Rally in the Greenville, SC area. What a treat it would be to see a line of Prevost.

We’re in Salem, SC. Crooked Creek Rv Park (Seneca) would be a good rally spot. One hr. from Greenville though.

Hello, Joe. I have a receipt in hand from Covington Diesel in Nashville, TN. There was an 8V92 purchased and installed 01/28/2004. I have a separate receipt that shows Prevost of Whites Creek, TN installed the 8V92 on 01/29/2004. Since that install it looks like ~50K miles have been placed on the engine.
You can telephone me and I can tell you who the owner was at that time. It could be someone that the Prevost Community knows.

Good Friday morning, Doug. A rally an hour out of Greenville would give the coach a little time to breath. That could be a good spot.

Ron are you saying that you have a 2000 prevost chassis with a 8v92 motor in it ?? What year is the chassis of your bus ? The year will be on the plate above the motor on the electric box at back or beside the drivers seat.
I find this hard to believe, unless its a prevost chassis that’s older than a 1994 then it would have a 8v92 -
