Driver’s Powered Side Window
Recently starting having issues with my powered side window. When moving the window up or down, it will stop suddenly and not move until several seconds of time have gone by. Then its movement is only sporadic in either direction. Is the issue related to the motor or some type of position regulator.

I would say most likely the Motor, there is no position sensor other than the switch.

I agree it’s the motor mine did the exact same thing. I can’t tell from your profile picture. I you have an H the replacement is anything but easy at least on a marathon.

Mine had the exact same symptoms as it slowly died. I bought the replacment motor and did the repair in probably 90 minutes.

Bill is right, on an H it is a major operation.
