Driver’s Air Filter
So, I decided to clean my driver’s air filter… The owner’s manual says to unscrew the grill and remove the filter at the top entrance step. Easy, it would seem.
Nope. With the sliding step, only two of the screws are visible. With a little exploration, I could see that only two screws were used. I took them off and had to slide the grill cover out from behind the sliding step cover.
Country Coach used a “creative” way to fix the screws – a simple wood block, painted black.
Once I got the filter partially out, I used a thin, long extension on my shop vac to clean the entire filter area. As the picture shows, it certainly was needed.
For the record, our dogs are black and do not shed. While they do create dust bunnies, the hair found is certainly not theirs!!
I’ve been pleased at how good our driver’s air performed. I bet now it will be even better.
