    Driver evaporator leaking freon

    Has anyone replaced a driver evaporator on an Elegant Lady Liberty? If yes, would you share your experience on it with us? Does anyone know of any places less expensive than the Prevost centers at which to get it repaired? Thanks

    it’s no fun…seriously it is some work to get to it. It is all about not damaging anything during the replacement.

    I have a 1986 Liberty and the front Cruise Air condensor leaked. I am in Connecticut and had a guy that works primarily on boat air come to my home and do the repair. He took the condensor out and repaired it at his shop (brazed a cracked tube). He brought it back to my home, reinstalled it, evacuated the system and charged it for a total of about $6500.
