  • Door handle lights and window accent lights

Posted by Dorel on June 8, 2015 at 11:45 am

Hello, entry door outside light and inside handles do not light up, where do I start ?

Also all windows accent(rope lights) are missing bulbs, how do I replace them? Rope lights from Vista? 12V?

My Royale uses “Illumagrip”. ( http://www.itc-rv.com/product-category/assist-handles/ ) Mine does not look exactly like yours, but maybe a different model.

    Replacement LEDs are available.

Thanks John. Mine it has 2 holes/channels approx 3/8 dia, with couple wires/bulbs attached running thru.

The bulbs are in the wires…..

If all three items are out plus others in behind steps not pictured I would suspect the fuse for entry lights. Located behind upper panel passenger side above entry steps ceiling bulk head.

There is a fuse block ….. if you see a red light “on” that’s the fuse to replace.

Usually the cause of blown fuse is the entry hand rail mounted on dash wall. The wires are not well protected and over time rub inside the pipe on edge going around corner inside pipe.

Repair with black tape separating each wrapping securely to prevent shorting. That handle is a PIA to remove and reinstall as there is a plate behind that must be installed back correctly for strength .

    Dorel,

Under the top hinge on mine there is a very small black rocker switch that is hard to see that turns on the lights. Just a thought in case you missed it.

Web not slow, just smart. It knows that Tom and Big Al can’t read very fast, so it is just typing at the speed that they can read.
