Door Air Lock Line Sprung a Leak
I was investigating the hissing sound eminating from the side panel area as I enter the coach. I pulled off the panel that has all of the lighting switches and found an air line blowing air. Not a little air either. I plan to replace the air line.
It is about 10″ to 12″ long. Any recommendation on where to get a new line. I noticed the marking for “DOT” on it if that matters. I am tking it off tomorrow and will post a picture.

Nylon DOT air brake line. Should be able to pick it up at NAPA. Likely 1/4 inch OD but just have them match it.

Just a reminder……….Any repairs to the pneumatic system on our coaches should use only DOT certified fittings, components and air lines. As Joe pointed out any NAPA store can provide not only the hose but fittings also, and as an alternative all truck parts shops are also going to have DOT certified hoses, fittings and components.

I will make my way to NAPA today to get the line and fitting. It is a 1/4″ fitting on both ends. Thanks to both of you for replying.

There is an air line behind my main swich panel beside the co-pilot that sprung a leak. I have replaced and all is well. I am not hearing any hissing at all at the door. Door air lock seems to pull in tighter, too.

Good job, you are on your way to become a Prevost expert! One small repair at a time and they all add up to a store house of knowledge.
It does get easier with time and experience.
