Don’t Want To Start Trouble
Posted by Archived on July 3, 2017 at 9:36 amJon, as SD of the PC site (Senior Director) I am asking about this logo that always appears in the post of that Truk4u guy.
Don’t you consider that to be advertising and does he pay for that.
I hope he pays cause the more income PC has the cheaper my dues !!!!!! just asking, don’t want any trouble.
Sincerely

I admit to the exact same thoughts Buddy and like yourself I recognize there will be retribution in one way or another? I’m just happy that someone was willing to say it! Buddy we may have to pool together our resources so maybe at least one of us can stay on. My last dues increase was a doozy and I hardly insulted Jon at all…Yah, not posting my name either

As one get’s older and a little wiser you learn a few things along the way. I’ll just watch this unfold….might not be pretty.

Everyone has to understand the managment structure of PC. I get free baseball hats, an occasional coffee cup and my dues have been waived. I am allowed to post on the forum. On a few occasions I have participated in seminars and I got some money out of that deal.
After PC pays the web designer and the web guru, expenses for the server, the costs of the free giveaways such as the aforementioned coffee cups and baseball hats, whatever is left of the advertiser money I split with Tom.
As can be seen from the above I don’t do a hell of a lot, unless you consider shouldering abuse hard work. It is not because I just ignore the insults.
Tom on the other hand chases the advertisers for their dollars, handles all the accounting, deals with questions regarding ads, both advertisers and owners selling coahes, plus he gets to answer the hard questions on the forum. (the ones I dodge because I never had a CC, Royale, Marathon, etc.).
So Tom and I have a deal. He gets free advertising and all the dues money, plus his share of the seminar and advertising money net of expenses.
It’s a great deal for me because he does all the work. I just sit around rocking to the Lennon Sisters tunes and trying to figure out how to turn on my flip phone.
Note to Tom………how did we get saddled with the bozos that posted above? I thought this site had standards.
-
That’s just offensive Jon, no one here or any other place ever said Buddy has standards!
(Sorry Buddy, I’m trying to work my way out of this… You know how Tom gets)! -
Did you gentlemen run out of ways to pick on Tom about getting slides for Nancy? So the only thing left is to pick on him about his forum SIG? My family has a saying “we pick on you because we love you”. So if Tom looks at it that way, you guys are the Family that loves him. Now if I was him, I think I would be looking for a different “Family”.
Tom, I got your back, but it’s not easy, especially after the two “Dump Truk” incidents.

Thanks Andre, it’s lonely here. I got a call the other day telling me I was referred to on another site as the A’hole that sells Lifelines. I thought, damn, that was harsh what did I do to that guy. Then they told me who was the source and we cracked up laughing, at least I can look in the mirror each day.
What Jon hasn’t told you is the huge amount of advertising I have to pay, then we split it and he gets half, so I think I’m taking it in the shorts here.
Mr Brown, you never ever screw with the admin, it can have less than a happy outcome.
-
Yeah Buddy, there could be a huge Dump Truk accident right next to your coach someday. Be careful not to anger that guy!

Tom,
On that reference to you as an A’hole. I am offended as I have also been called an A’hole. It was at a crossroads in Asheville, NC, that bastion of friendly hospitality. I was stopped at a traffic signal that did not have railroad preemption and the guy behind me was wearing out his horn. If I pulled forward I’d be blocking the intersection. There was a corner gas station across the intersection on the right side. Turns out that was were the driver behind me wanted to go. So the train clears the roadway and vehicles start crossing the tracks. I begin to pull forward when this genuis behind me pulls out, passes me, his window in down, and he shouts at the top of his lungs, “You A’hole.” Well ever since that day Carole and I have had many laughs as we go through that intersection and say, “don’t forhet to turn at A’hole corner.” I’m wondering if I could get NCDOT to bless the intersection with a sign stating, “Welcome to A’hole Corner.”

The childish name caller was an individual that is not welcome on this site. Being that he lives in Ashville perhaps he is the one that greeted you in the same way Will?
Strange that someone who considers himself quite the genius has such a limited vocabulary.

It often goes hand in hand.

Truk,
I just thought it meant that the Marathon had stopped running and you needed a lifeline (kinda like phone a friend).
