Don’t use dish soap
Had one of the small Aux manifolds under the drivers seat fail As can been seen in the attached pictures, the brass retaining ring and grabber teeth were corroded (you can see the green coloring on the brass). I have used and I am quite sure the previous owners have used dishwashing soap to check for leaks (which is corrosive).
I will use Rectorseal Better Bubble in the future.
