    Mark:

Use the wirthco kits to tap out a fused circuit which stays live after you disconnect. Mount and wire in a new outlet or change over the one you have.

    Edit

Page 2 of the installation manual tells you how to tap a circuit for a stop light switch. It produces a 12vdc constant circuit after disconnect. Basically, it tells you how and where to tap for an auxillary, after disconnect circuit.

My Hummer is a 2009 and I will double check my manual but I believe it states that I must keep the key in the acc. position. What I am thinking of doing is adding the Roadmaster disconnect/charger which will disconnect the battery from the entire vehical and then adding a seperate cig. lighter adapter wired directly to the battery for the use of my Apollo aux brake.

My running lights and brake lights are powered from the bus electrical system.

Must be the 2005 and 2009 are different. Since there is no steering wheel lock and I do not use the H2 battery power for anything but the Tattle Trail (tire monitor) I just turn it off ater putting the transfer case in neutral and take the key out and lock the door.
