To each his own choice. I have always preferred a 2 door jeep. I find them the quickest and easiest hookup.

PBest picture I have on my phone. I’ll post a better one later.

We always have a trailer or toad, or the toad in the trailer along with Harley’s and Golf carts.

I’m sure glad I made this post!!! Love seeing your bus/toad configurations! Yah, I think a toad is the way to go for me as well. I understand the flexibility of having it is great and I especially like the emergency aspect of it.
Thanks again for your input and if you’d like to keep posting your configuration I’d love seeing them.

While we can take any of our three toads, I leave all of them home at every opportunity.
The extra 15 or 20 feet means more care has to be taken when passing. With a toad 4 wheels down you cannot back up. It is just more to wash or dust when you tow one. It has a small impact on mileage and possibly stopping distances although I cannot say I have ever tested stopping distances with or without one.

We use a Blue Ox tow bar with the M&G braking system. We tow a Escalade ESV and wouldn’t leave home without it..Convenience is a big deal to us… we love to go drive around and explore the areas we visit and we would never do that using Uber… To each his own.

I don’t have a bus yet, but we tow an F150 4×4 CC with a GL1800 Goldwing in the back.
Ok, I give up, I can’t get my picture to rotate….looks good until it posts.

Hi Brett,
I really like the American Eagles from that time, they have some of the nicest floor plans and interior design going! BTW, your photo wouldn’t right itself because Jon, aka “Jon The Curator” assigned an algorithm to distort or otherwise rotate all plastic coaches!
Lets not talk about this any more because Jon gets all huffy and stuff! He’ll probably not read this post anyway… He’s never liked me! 🙂
-
Thanks HJ, yes we realy like the coach as well.It is rock solid, outstanding floorplan BUT I am working a deal as we speak on a bus. It is a stupid move on my part, but WTH. If I am going to upside down and in debt it might as well be on a bus..lol
I don’t even know this Jon you speak of, but he sounds villianous and racist against plastic…I bet he don’tev en havea credit card because it is plastic.

Ahh Brett you are so right! Jon is one of the owners of the forum but there’s no problem really. Go down on one knee, kiss his ring, pay an extra year of forum dues and you’ll find Jon almost human. The other guy is Tom and if you meet him just double up on everything! As for the “Plastic Coach” part. Jon’s favorite color is plaid! Must I say more?

I shall rephrase, I know of this Jon of whom you speak, yet I have never bestowed my weary eyes upon his presence. I often hear things of plaid, and having to walk 3-5 steeps behind him, yet rushing to have any door open for which he wishes to pass through.
I was mage to pay five years dues just for having a plastic coach, yet I was able to work out a deal where it only costs me a mere month per post. I find that very well in todays market.
As for Tom, I have heard the name spoken, but usually in a whisper for it not to charge against you.

Well said for someone with a plastic coach! :))Hey Brett, what kind of bus are you looking for and we love pictures. There’s a good chance someone here may know it?
