There’s an easy way to find out. Just disconnect it and see what happens.

Yes I can do that but as you can see in picture I’m replacing 1 of my inverters from the old Xantrex to a new Magnum MS2812 pure sine wave inverter for the new refer going in, I had to remove that box to get inverter out so I will leave it out ant when I’m done with inverter i will try gen.

I would assume you could remove the box after a rewire of the autostart to be controlled by the new Magnum. Why would you only change out one inverter and not both?

I’m going to replace both but rite before the holidays the 1st inverter and the new refer will do my quota for the month. If the gen is on auto start will it also hit the prestart (prime and glow plugs) don’t know much about the auto start on the inverter control?

What does the owner’s manual for the inverter you will use for auto-start tell you? That is going to answer your question.

Got the 1st inverter in and set up, also got refer out and ready to come out, Talked to Dave at Lifeline and he ran thru set up with new inverter and he said a new modern refer compared to 22 year old refer he said new will be 10 times more efficient than the old refer. Sat I will remove PS windshield and at my friends shop will forklift old out and new in.

Almost done with the upgrade on 2 new inverters and 1 new Refrigerator, I have a Questions on the MS2812 Magnums? The set up I did with some help from Dave at Lifeline , Do they both charge together?

I would follow Dave’s instructions which would be Lifeline specific and you may want to ask Magnum your charging question. I could tell how mine work, but don’t want to suggest how yours should be setup.

Any good tricks for keeping new refer doors closed in travel? the old Whirlpool had cabinet latches on the bottom of the doors to latch the new Whirlpool is completely different and can’t do that. Also Jonathan did you get my E-mail to call ? You have the same set up as I do 2 magnums and same auto start box I would like to ask you a couple of questions. (805) 712-9449

We have a similar fridge the way the handles are designed although we have french doors and a bottom freezer drawer.
Even though Liberty installed latches that click when you close the door, I have a 1 inch wide by 15 inch long velcro strap that I wrap around the handles. I just like the extra safety to keep the doors closed.
The drawer freezer seems to be fine without anything on it.
