DIY Wabco Air Dryer Cleanout/overhaul
I’m in the process of cleaning the inside & outside of the Wabco system saver 1000 air dryer on our coach. Here is what I’ve come-up with.
The 1000 model been replaced with the 1200E. They’re almost identical and most parts interchange. My unit has a 24v/100w heater. Its build date code is 02/95 and model# is 432 413 002 0, which is the same as todays R955206 and SRWABK119.
If you just want to replace the complete unit, I found online that the 12v units are much more plentiful and less expensive($120) than the 24v units($285). You could buy the 12v unit and swap the 24v heater out of your old unit(3 screws), or buy a new 24v heater, pt# R950016, for
12v unit model#s are: 432 413 0010 or R955205 or SRWABK118.
Various other part #s are: purge valve R950014; turbo valve R950013; regeneration valve before 22/95 is R950012, after is R950044; outlet check valve R950017, pres relief valve S2206-D-1226, spin-on element R950011 or Fleetgard#AF27817 or Baldwin#BA5374 or Wix#24374.
