  • Disk Brake Pads??

    Working on my tag calipers Passenger side tag looks good finishes it, Now on driver side pads wore down and I broke one of the spring retainers, what is a good part # for brake pads and where is a good place to purchase them??

    a) KIT15615PM
    or
    b) S2R7017173

    Right now on ebay one seller has one KIT15615PM for $40 + shipping

    FindItParts.com gets $200 per pair
    another ebay seller has one S2R7017173 for $72 + shipping
    I have 4 sets on my shelf in case I ever need them

    I got mine from Prevost parts. Pads and the 10 inch drum shoes

    for the drive. If ya go with brake shoes you’ll need the bolt kit,

    they come in a box of 100 you’ll only need less then half of them!!!!!

    If ya interested I have the other half. Replace all is a good idea my breaks was wore very little, but do to age they were deteriorating.

    Do what ya think best, brakes are one of the cheapest things on a

    50,000 lb bus to have replaced
