Tommy,
When we belonged to another site it had a directory and we found out through another member all the private contact information we provided to create the directory was in the public domain. The web site owner sold the directory to an RV industry marketing firm.
Tom and I vowed we would never ever expose our members to anything of that nature. However we do recognize the benefit of being able to contact other members so anyone willing can turn on the ability to receive emails. You can contact anyone who has enabled that by clicking on the user name when the person posts.
If you meet folks at various venues such as rallies or at service centers exchange contact information. If you want to contact someone but they have not allowed their email to be public, send the email to Tom or I and we will forward it to the party you wish to contact. We will not reveal any information about any member unless specifically allowed by that member.
