Dining Table config
I’ve had a built in traditional booth and a dinette with chairs.
anyone who has had or changed to a side bar table care to chime in on how you like or disliked that set up?In a non-slide coach it definitely adds extra floorspace and certainly the potential of more prep space in the kitchen… But of course playing cards or table game seems to go right out the window ( not that you can more than 2 really anyway.)
my thought for doing some work in setting up a small computer there on a semi regular basis seems to be a more comfortable way to work and have space for two side-by-side computer screens

Mike, we did. Moved the original table next to the wall, found marble tile to match the original to go where the dinette had been. My biggest concern was what was behind the dinette but the walls were perfect, we built a baseboard for the electrical wires to run along the wall. When we have company for dinner we can seat 4, we carry matching folding chairs in the bay.

Very nice looking bus BTW.
My current dinette table is similar to what you put in. – it is a table with 2 chairs.
My table is a bit deeper from the wall (toward the oppisite side of the bus / than yours) and accomodates 2 people extremely well.- 1 person with a folding chair could sit at the end.
I was considering switching that to the bar style which runs from the refriderator to the J sofa.
you would then look out the window as you were sitting there. and be side by side to the person sitting next to you.

I like your idea Mike, doable relatively easily. Some of the new Liberty’s have something close to what you’re going for, although they have mounted bar height seating. With a non-slide the narrower bar and chairs would certainly give you more walkway.
