we see something that we have not seen yet, the motorhomeexchange has a 2004 marathon just listed that does not have a dinette per say, but has the 2 chairs with a table in between that kind of has double duty ???

am I seeing that correct , and is that really rare.

We are researching and have never seen that , but I always thought that might be part of our design that we would like.

Ours had a dinette with four chairs when we bought it used in 2008. We took it out and repurposed that area. The passenger area across from the couch had two chairs with a table in between. We use that table as a work station with laptops and as a dining room table. It works great for us.

Ours has a breakfast bar with two chairs that we use as a desk as much as we use it to dine. We love it. You can sort of see it in this photo which I took when we extended the stone floor into the salon and replaced the original carpeting.

Sorry, Paul, I have been without internet service for a few days. We had a bunk area with a book case and storage drawers built for my daughter that travels with us. It is all reversable in the event we ever sell the coach or our daughter moves on.

Yes, that puts the bunk between the kitchen and living area but it works for us. The bunk gives her some privacy and also a permanent bed rather than pulling out the couch every night.
