Dinette changeover
Hi all,
Looking for some advice on changing from table with 4 chairs to counter style
or the lounge with movable side table.
Does anybody know where to find these tables and mechanisms(pedestal)
that allow the table to be “tucked in” while traveling, and then pull
out for use as a dinette ?
Something similar to these….

The mechanism on the table in my Marathon came from a Marine supply place. It is the slide and Post that holds the captain chairs . It is a quality item , not junky. Must be from a top end boat.

What does your current set-up look like? I am working on a 4 chair / table set-up myself and would like to see how yours was set up. Were the chairs fastened down or were they like a home dining set.

Current setup….. the chairs legs can be tied to the table pedestal. The table top will move about 8 inches in either direction sideways

Here’s what our’s looks like just to give you some idea’s.

Do a search for “Linear Actuator”, thats probably what moves the table in and out.
