  • Diesel leak to Webasto

Posted by Archived on August 3, 2021 at 9:49 pm

Discovered a diesel leak coming from the fuel lines to the Webasto heater. The leak appears to be coming from the connection at the filter and traveling down the line into the Webasto. I used a temporary clamp which seems to be holding the fuel drip to a minimum.

Is there a way to shut off the fuel ahead of the filter?

Also, I see these two little white connectors spliced into the fuel lines. Are these there to make it easier to change lines, or are the some type of flow of fuel restrictor and need to be there? I’m of the mind, the fewer links in the chain the better.

    Thanks
