Has anyone put one of these heaters into their coach? If so any feedback as to how well it is working and if it provides enough heat to warm up the coach on chilly mornings/nights?

I am not familiar with that specific type heater, but around the vintage of your coach it was not uncommon for coaches to be propane equipped. Our first coach, also a 1987 had a large capacity propane tank and it had 3 propane furnaces for heat, plus a gas refrigerator, plus a gas BBQ.

But typically if the coach was not equipped with propane the converter at that time used electric heaters such as toe space heaters in various locations. Additionally it might have had a diesel powered heater that circulated a heated liquid through heat exchangers. Such a unit might have been an Espar usually located in the engine area.

I would not bring propane into the coach.
