    Detroit mechanic Recommendations in FL?

    Hey all does anyone have recommendations for a trusted diesel mechanic in the central FL area? I would like to have valve adjustment done and a ckeck of the jake brakes (cant feel a difference between 1 and 2 on the sw) Also how does everyone feel about a dyno run to check engine health? Is this a good idea or a waste of money?

    We have learned to rely on Stewart & Stevenson Florida Detroit Diesel located at 224 SW 52nd Avenue, Ocala, Fl 34474. Ph 352 237-7977. Steve Winstanley, Service Mgr.

    They are very accommodating to working on buses and seem to have an incredible access to parts if needed. They have recently installed 50 amp outlets which we find handy when we arrive the night before our service appointments.
