Depreciation curve

The longer you own any coach the lower the depreciation on an annual basis. That is a given.
But abuse a coach, fail to maintain it, fail to record and log a good maintenance history and depreciation will be greater. Take care of it and have the records to prove that and depreciation is going to be less.

Yes, I remember selling a big boat and thinking that while the money I just spent in depreciation was a lot, I would spend it all again right now to relive some of those times with those people.

Joel: are you sure the list price of your 2000 XLV Elegant Lady was $1.2 million? While we don’t have a build sheet for our coaches not do know the actual price out the door at Liberty, ours is only a year older than your and I’ve thought it’s original sale price was around $850K, maybe $900k. If you have paper work that confirms $1.2 million then ours (a year older) was probably right at $1 million new. I think we both have rivet coaches.

If I recall correctly, somewhere I saw the figure of $1.2 LIST (msrp?) price, not sales price, but, no, not sure. And yes, I have rivets. Unfortunately, I also have a very early XLII dash.
