Out of delivery side (vehicle interface) of DDEC IV ecm. K1 wire 505 is tach. I need to pick up oil temp, engine temp, oil pressure. Any idea as to what pins to use. I have the books on DDEC IV and prevost wiring diagram. To be honest my head is getting full of studying them. Looking for easy way out! History for those that don’t know project I am rebuilding a shell who’s wiring harnest was burned thru at rear axle and installing a drive train out of a pre egr freightlinner. Have got everything down to last few guages. I will keep looking but if someone has this info at hand..My head could take the break. Thanks ahead of time. Bob
PS everything is running except the mentioned guages. It would shut down etc for any malfunction.

That is trans temp gauge. Not needed since I changed to 10spd autoshift. From what I can find there is no signal pin except for tach (K1). I need ck my engine for a seperate set of sensors for water temp and oil pressure. Bob

    Bob,

As far as I know there are no analog outputs for those signals. They are on the 1708/1939 CAN bus so you read them with Silver leaf or other diagnostic software. You’ll have to add sending units for the analog gauges you want to use.

was just wishing.. Been pooring over diagrams and thought I missed something. I can tee at oil pressure sender and have extra plug in thermo housing for water temp. Would have been less time involved than trying to over think this project. Thanks again Bob
