I purchased a dash cam in January. I have not settled on the best windshield location yet but I think I like this one best.

It is already proven useful. I was running across I-10 in Louisiana a few weeks ago and a slow moving car merged in front of me from the on ramp. My left blinker was on but there was a car passing in the left lane at the moment so I had to slow down considerably. There was a car well behind him in the left lane that pushed the gas hard when he saw my left blinker. You know the type, right?

I had plenty of room so I merged into the left lane and passed the slow car and merge immediately into the right lane. I doubt if the speeding car in the left lane even had to hit his brakes but boy was he mad. He came around me pointing and obviously screaming. He was throwing and all out fit. I was prepared for him and had already let off the accelerator.

As he jerked in front of me and hit his brakes I just pointed up to the camera and held that position waiting for his reaction. It was priceless. When he realized what I was pointing at, he hit the gas hard and probably didn’t slow down till the county line. It was hilarious.

I think this may be the best money I have spent for a while.
