Dash Air not kicking in
My driver’s dash A/C seems to no longer be kicking in. I thought I recall hearing a click/relay or something whenever the compressor was called for but no longer hear it. When A/C light is lit, only warm … to hot air is blown. Before this ‘final’ failure, it acted like the A/C would run cold for 10 minutes or so then kick off and run hot air for another 10 minutes and cycle like that. Now, no A/C at all … but the dash control light is lit.
So, how can I isolate that this is a control unit needing to be replaced versus compressor not responding when called for?
Any way to force it on, bypassing the dash control unit? I’ve swapped the R34/R36 relays with known good ones in the back. No CB are popped.

Well, stupid me was trying to run the A/C while sitting in the garage on normal idle. With high idle, I do hear/feel the compressor and fan kick in and do get ‘some’ cold air. I’ll have to take it for an actual ride for an hour or so to see if there is still a problem.
