  Cruise Air Question

  I have a couple of questions regarding my A/C. I’m not fortunate to have Bus Air, but do have driver a/c and cruise airs.

  1. On the LH panel (by the A/C switches), there is a switch labeled “A/C Select”. Whenever I push the switch, it lights up and I can hear a relay under the bus but don’t know what’s happening, as I cannot tell any difference in the systems operation.

  2. When I first obtained the bus, the A/C’s could be used without the gen set running. I typically run one unit (front unit) to keep the front area cooler. If we needed another unit to run, I’ll crank up the generator.

  When driving the coach yesterday, I noticed the front a/c would not start up, but the others would. If the gen set is running or the coach is on shore power, all units run fine.

  I guess I should know what the answer to these 2 questions are, but I don’t. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.
