Anybody have any pictures of where these filters are hiding in your coaches??

Air was free, valve stem was free, bag of equal 51.00, tire installation was free. Tire 365x70x22.5 Total 1399.00.

Date code: 4108 Tread looked good. But 98 degrees and rough ass road changes things. Air pressure monitor with no tire left on rim stll at 111 lbs. It sent the monitor into oblivion, so I suppose it continues to register the last known pressure reading?? I run tag Cold tire air pressure at 95 lbs.

Fortunately no damage other than loss of rear mudflap and cable tv wire lead. No damage to toad – really unbelieveable.

I recommend everyone revisit your tire date codes. These tires IMHO were not that bad and the date code did not alarm me when I purchased the coach – intentions of replacing tires at some point in the near future. That just got moved up to this week as a result of the blowout.

For roadside service I’d say that’s a fair price. Shouldn’t Michelin cover this? Their RV tire warranty is either 5 or 6 years. In either case it was in the warranty period.

I have a TPMS that I never used. As much as I’d like to have a TPMS I read too many negatives, like what happened here. I’m sure they have be beneficial to many they just don’t pass my risk vs reward test. An affordable and reliable in-wheel system like those factory installed would be great.

I’m glad no one was hurt and that coach wasn’t damaged.

I’m not sure this is the correct area for this post but on the topic of AC filter maintenance, for those of us with the Prevost OTR there is a stack of three filters over the blower motor on the driver side that should be cleaned on a regular basis too.
