Not sure if this is a electrical question or an HVAC question. I recently purchased a 98 Prevost XL. It’s in great shjape with minimal problems. I bought it from an individual in Indiana, but picked it up at the Prevost service center in Nasville, where they had just checked it over. I did not meet the previous owner in person, but handled everything over the phone and email. I knew when I bought it that the bus a/c was not working properly. The previous owner said that when the coach was running and the inverter was on that the roof air conditioners would operate properly, however, I could not get the roof a/c to work with only the inverter on, and had to trun on the generator. When I took it to a service center here in Ohio, the service person said the roof a/c will not work with only the inverter on, even when the bus in running, and that they will only work when the generator is on. Is something not working right, do I have a problem with the inverter (I have installed all new inverter batteries), or is the service person correct? Also, the coach did not come with any books. Where is a good place to get an owners/operators manual? Thanks in advance for your help.
