Crestron batteries
Is it worth the $119 Crestron wants for their batteries for the handheld unit? I see they they can be bought a lot cheaper for like $30 on Amazon.
Anyone think the cheaper battery could affect or ruin the unit? I would only expect a shorter life or fewer charges.
Im a big advocate in getting what you pay for but didnt know if anyone else knew something I didnt.

Jeff, I don’t know which model it is but it is old, big and heavy. Prob the first gen models and the battery is the size of your fist.

I’m working from my phone here and not my computer so I can’t seem to turn the pic and get it right but that’s the unit.
Good to know the cheaper batteries work. This one has been going dead after about 30 min off the charger so I figured it was due for a new battery.
