Country Coach switch board
Having troubles with the switch board by the passenger seat next to the entrance on a 96 XL. Removed the panel to diagnose the problem and found a wire that had broken off of the circuit board. in order to reattach the broken wire all off the micro switches need to be removed. How do these switches come out? I have tried everything and am scared of breaking them. Does this require a special tool? Thanks

To clarify are you speaking of the interior switch pad or the micro switches on the back of the ECC? I dont have the answer but can suggest these sources I have dealt with personally. There are others but I would start here.1.Contact CC and make sure you ask for their Prevost tech. I have dealt with Kevin but there is at least one more with CC Prevost expertise. I’m in north Texas and there are two sources in my area, which are excellent.
2. Brandon Hulsey at Luxury Coach Service in Rockwall, Tx. and
3. Kenneth at Trawick Coach in Fort Worth (a PC advertiser). Kenneth is actually building complete replacement panels for an XL customer currently. I have seen them and when finished they will be incredible and far superior to the originals in form and function.Buddy and Mike bought their CC XLs new so maybe they will chime in.

You can also contact Miles Ciro, as he is able to refurbish some of the boards. (He purchased much of the old inventory of Country Coach on their bankruptcy.)
Someone doing new boards, though, would be of great interest to me, and probably most other Country Coach owners!

Apprently Nick Hessler who has been a Prevost CC specialist is back into Service and Electronic board repairs full time after taking a break.

On my 99 there are no wires conected directly to the circuit board.
All the wires are atached to a plastic plug that in turn plugs into prongs prtruding from the circuit board.
There are two of these plugs on mine.
I have talked to Miles many times and he is very helpful and can repair these boards.
Also glad to see someone in Forth Worth is repairing them to.

The circuit board behind the switch pad is where the wire is broken. I unplugged the two connectors and removed the panel. I know that if I remove all the switches then I would be able to get to the circuit board and resolder the wire back on. The problem is that removal of the switches may require a special tool of some sort. I will definitely give the tech at Country Coach a call Monday. Thanks for the help.
