Art – are those new blue hoses from Prevost “soft” compared to your old ones? My current hoses are as you describe your old hoses. When you have time, would you mind sharing the part numbers of the hoses you ordered from DD

They should be here Tuesday this week, got them from Prevost,Coming from NJ. My friend just replaced his but he’s does hydraulic hoses so he used old ends and replaced hose with rubber hoses, The new ones might be rubber not sure but they know what their doing. My friend that old hoses are rubber with metal inside covered with that blue braid, One Mine are leaking from bottom of water pump can’t get it to stop and they are rock hard. I will take a picture of new hoses when they arrive. # 2 not sold from Prevost Filter.

One word of advice. Make sure and carry several gallons of coolant (either pre diluted or concentrate and distilled water) in your coach after final fill. Due to all the heater hoses, nook and crannies, air locks, you will need to top off coolant several times after your work as the air works itself out of the system. This is also a great time to replace your radiator cap if you haven’t done so. Nothing like new shiny parts on your engine!

Jon: you flushed 8 times.
Did you flush with tap water? Hard or soft water?
what did you do with the eight flushes?

Art – The new blue hoses look great! Are they super firm like the old blue hoses?
-
A little pricey for the pair they were like $150 but they will be correct

Dick, Untreated water for flushing. Each flush got out about 18 gallons of coolant or water so I took 2 flushes to the recycling center, The rest I spilled down my concrete driveway because the concentration of coolant or engine flush was so little.
