  • Converted Head Lights

Posted by Charles E. (Buddy) on September 9, 2021 at 8:48 am

I have a friend that just bought a 2001 CC and the headlights have been converted from the big Ford style to the small round HID and Halogen assembles.

Does anyone know how to swing them open to change a bulb. They are hinged on one side but I can’t find a way to unlatch them to swing them out.

Have dropped the bumper and can’t see anything. On each side, one of the light assemblies has three holes with screws in them, for adjustment but can’t see anything in the third hole, thought it might be a screw way back in the housing.

    Thanks

My 02 was converted to the round lights by Xtreme Paint and Graphics in Texas. They swing out same as stock. One small hole on the exterior of the housing as stock allows a phillips head to reach the screw which allows the assembly to swing out for access.

They look like the ones James was doing.

I go to my friends and search for a screw in the assembly.

    Thanks
