Continental Ha3 Coach Tire
Does anyone have any experience with this tire? I’m leaning toward Michelin but the Ha3 has the pressure sensor already installed and with the Michelin i will have to have them installed before mounting. I currently have the Conti Pressure System installed in the bus, so that’s the reason for the interest. If any of you have any experience with the ride, handling, or wear please chime in.

There is an entertainer coach leasing and private converter company here in my home town, Mayo Tours, and they use Continental exclusively.

Thanks Buddy, I feel Michelin is a great tire, but i thought the ease of installing the contis is worth a look.

I have had the Continental tires for the past three years. I replaced Good Year tires. The ride and handling have been great and I have had zero issues. I have never had Michelin on the bus.

The cost of the tire is 10 bucks less than the Xza2, but it already has the sensor in it. It may be the way i go.

I have had Toyo, Goodyear, two Continentals till I could find Michelin’s.
I really think the two complete sets of Michelin’s I went through were the best.
check the speed rating on the other brands, that could be an issue.
The Toyos were 65 and I think the newer Michelin’s are 75 mph.

I’m almost like that guy with the flip phone, I rarely get over 65. It is good to know the speed rating is higher than 65, just in case I get the bug to drag race. I’ll check the speed rating on the Conti tires. I’ve had Continental tires a few times on cars and trucks and every time i couldn’t wait to get them off, and that’s the reason for the inquiry into the coach tires.

Did i touch a sensitive nerve, mentioning a flip phone. If I used a name people may not have known whom I was speaking of, but by saying the guy with the flip phone, they knew exactly who it was. Haha

My flip phone and how I use it is widely known.
Unlike the phone slaves who cannot go 5 minutes without looking at their phone, 5 minutes is generally the maximum on time during the day. That 5 minutes is when I am making a call. Once I am done using it I turn it off.
No texts. No camera. No voice mail.
Whenever Tom calls the house to talk to me, if Di answers and tells him I am out doing errands, his next question is “does he have his phone with him?”. If Di tells Tom I do have it with me his follow up question is “does he have it turned on?”
On rare occasions when someone says they will call me, I will actually turn it on. But that is really really rare.

Guilty, I am attached to my phone like an alcoholic is attached to their bottle. There are times I put it down for hours on end, but when I pick it back up I may be on it for up to an hour or two. I’ll accept intervention if someone offers.

COLD TURKEY!
Step one……turn it off.
Step two…….Stick it somewhere up in the attic.
Step three………enjoy the freedom.
