We travel and not by Coach, hope to rectify that in the future, and find ourselves between Elkhorn Wisconsin, Green Bay, Scottsdale Az., and all cities between. I was in Best Buy for some technical service work on my laptop, found out my hard drive crashed and needed a new one. Best Buy has a new program for $199.00 plus tax you can get unlimited service work at any Best Buy in the country. This is for a year and you can have the service on any computer or cell phone or other electronic at any Best Buy in the Country. They will even assist you in a remote location via the Internet to fix your issue without you having to coe into a store.

Thought this might be of interest to some of you.

Yeah got into a similar deal with them on a warranty on a lap top a couple years ago. “No we can’t fix it” but can and will sell you a new one.

This deal is not warranty work. This is a service contract and so far I have been pleased as punch. It works for me and when I travel it is hard to find any computer service tech to do anything. At least I have a place to go for $200 a year. To me worth the risk.

I have replaced all my rotating hard drives (HDD) with much more robust flash storage drives (SSD). No mechanical parts and much faster. No more hard drive crashes particularly on laptops. But the speed difference alone is worth the upgrade.

When you buy a new laptop make sure it has SSD storage (Vs HDD). Upgrading existing laptops is possible as well if you are comfortable opening up a laptop.
