Bill I live 2and half hours north of Denver u can park coach in side I have 50 amp power and sewer and water u then can drive your car to Denver my building is big enough for 6 or so coaches

Some places require chains on your tires, practice in warm weather. Install and remove, that is.

Filling water and dumping sewage become a chore. Try to locate hose that will be flexible in cold weather. Dump hose may crack after the warm water has passed through. The thin plastic will cool quickly and become brittle.

I recommend having several dump hoses on hand, in case the cold makes them crack and leak. Provide for warm storage of the hoses between use. You will not be leaving them connected to the utilities.

Keep diesel and water full as practical and black empty as practical. Just use common sence and you should be ok. Small mistakes can be life threatening.

I am assuming you mean real cold weather and not just 29 to 33 degs..

They make heated water hose now it will not freeze up u can stay connected to water good for up to -40 Fahrenheit I think u can install on spot auto chains they work great do not know how much clearance u need call on spot they will know u don’t have to get out of bus just flip switch and they are on lots of buses up north have them

Thanks I will definately keep that in mind….we just finished our first week in the bus (family of 5) and the chore of keeping the bus in really cold weather is what I am concerned about as I will be working and most likely staying in a hotel in Denver for at least a couple of weeks. Based on this week we are having to dump black every 2 days, 3 max… the air toilets are really nice but they use a ton more water than what we are used too… so we are just thinking this thru… The Marathon has the no fuss sewer hose and just not sure about all that in super cold… might be safer to just connect a reagular hose to it… just not sure what the wife is going to be up for…..

Didn’t even think about chains… I have seen the automatic chains on firetrucks in the midwest my guess is they would be pretty spendie…. my initial plan was going to be if chains were required we won’t be driving… then there is the whole concern of a couple of feet of snow on slides and all that fun….

Might just be easier to retire and stay here in Hilton Head….where the weather has been amazing…. several Prevosts here….

Being a Colorado bus owner I would take Peter’s offer over Tiger Run for living in the bus for Feb. Colorado is snow county in the winter. Breckinridge average snow in Feb. is 30 inches. Elevation is about 4000 feet higher than at Peter’s. I am not sure about a H but chains on my Xl would rip the nice fenders installed by Royale to pieces. Just my advice worth jut what it cost.

Bill we also have nice bunk house room for kids one side other side for u and wife shower toilet mic and fridge and king size bed great food from cook five star food so u can leave bus inside and u can stay inside too both have seperate rooms and toilet and showers stay as long as u want Bus will be good too inside out of weather lots to do for kids to on ranch
