    coach to toad wiring

    Wiring help!

    I am trying to connect my 2000 Vantare to a 2017 Silverado toad. The coach has two trailer plug ins. One is a 6 pin and the other is a 7 pin. My problem is when I try to determine the correct outputs for the toad I don’t get the correct results. Does anyone know if Vantare used a set up similar to the one that has been talked about from Liberty? I have been able to identify the turn relay but haven’t torn into the wire looms to trace the leads to the plugs. Obviously I am trying to go from three active (tail, turn, stop) to two (tail, turn/stop).

    Got it! There was a wiring converter buried under a bunch of other wires. Guess what, Yup, bad. Replacement from NAPA. Good to go.
