City water
I just put in city water hook up in ran pex from city water hook up down through bay floor with ball valve inside water bay now I can just hook up with out running hose up in water bay hooks up under coach put 90 degree elbow in points out to side of coach

Just replaced old PVC pipe with pex hooked it up into city water inlet is in coach wear old PVC was should work good. Trina is still looking for sealant she can’t find it I put it some where I think it’s white or clear the black stuff I have is sikaflex I think she will look today I hope lots of snow

On my 2005 Royale you cannot run off of city water. You have to fill the tank run the pump.

I had a 97 Royale and pretty sure there was valve to be opened for city water. If you have a Head Hunter toilet it will not work on city water, it needs the pressure and volume of the Heathunter pump.
I don’t understand your update 2, Headhunter pump pressures at 72/92 make no sense, water pressure should be around 50 psi.

I had Tom post this. When talking to him last night he said his pump cut on at 72 psi and shut off at 90.
I said that seemed excessive.
So by Tom’s Truk4u post that seems to be correct as a lot of people mentioned having a pressure limiting adapter for water connection to external sources.

This is just a general observation about city water and its use on our coaches.
Some coaches are easily capable of using city water rather than having to rely on the water pump(s). Those coaches are set up by the converter to by-pass the tank and pumps and supply water at city pressure to the coach. A lot of coaches are equipped with devices to limit incoming water pressure so that municipal water pressure doe not create problems.
But with municipal water it has to be understood we have little or no control over the rate of water flow or pressures. Those are influenced by so many factors if the use of city water is preferred we have to be willing to deal with what might be low or high pressures and low water flow rates.
Some coaches will not work well on municipal water and must use water from the tank and the coach water pump(s). Those coaches with a Headhunter toilet are best used with the water pump. Each coach owner has to learn his coach and determine the best way to get needed performance from the coach water system. The converters do a very good job of providing a water system that works well off the holding tank for fresh water using the onboard pumps, but if an owner chooses to use municipal water that may prove OK in a lot of instances.

Those with a head hunter pump system do you have a manual with specification for pressure to turn on pump and pressure at which it shuts off?

My bus has a Headhunter toilet, but not a pump. The pump is a 12v Paragon by Groco. Cut in pressure is 28 psi, cut off is 38 psi. Here’s a PC Link: LINK

Max pressure for a Mach 5 is 67 psi.

How come the last time I bought one of the Headhunter pumps I didn’t get the option pictured in the bottom right of your post.

Chuck, I don’t have first hand knowledge, but was advised by a friend that if you select that option, it will drain your bank account rather quickly and if you already have a older model of that option, he guaranteed your bank account as well as your bus, home, clothes, etc, etc, etc will be gone.
