Check engine light and no cruise control
In my ‘91 XL the cruise control was not working, so I didn’t set it. Then later I noticed that my check engine light was on. Check my fluids and all was good. Then I noticed that the check engine light was only o when I had the cruise control switch on. Question where is the cruise control located and how does it relate to the check engine light?

Have you tried flashing the codes and checking the list? You are DDEC 2?

My Bus has a toggle switch built in that does the Jumpering.

17 might have been a 16.
58 cruise control switches. Outside of the panel switch where would others be?
engine oil and coolant have been normal. Coolant mid level site glass, dip stick on oil just below full.

Does the Engine run normal when going down the road, no CEL? Then you push the cruise control button and the CEL illuminates? Cruise off, light goes out?
