Gonna miss him. A true Patriotic American. He lived at my old RV park years ago when he was just starting out, in site 128. Dropped by and showed me his address on an old drivers license.

    Sad.

Just saw that a few minutes ago. Didn’t realize his background until I read his obit online. No instant success for Charllie Daniels! He kept pluggin’ away and things turned out pretty good for him.

    RIP

I love his music. Back in 1997, he brought the band to Grand Forks, ND after 90% of the city flooded. They gave a benefit concert in the WalMart parking lot. Might be the best concert I’ve ever attended. RIP

83 Charlie and you rest in piece. You gave us your incredible music and home spun – down home love of America! You were a Christian man with an eye towards the heavens. Anytime I hear a fiddler knowing his craft I’ll know you’re looking down with that smile on you face.
    God Bless,

    Harry
