Got the radiator tanks removed, guts cleaned, then reassembled at a local radiator shop.

Removed 2 ole (original?) MPI brand hoses (see pics) for the Webasto I believe and I replaced them with new 7/8″ id silicone. One was 8′ long and the other was 3.5′ long.

I got the CAC, radiator, gearbox, clutch fan area all cleaned and read to reinstall everything soon.

Replaced a couple more ole heater/coolant hoses that are located above the air dryer on my Liberty.

Reinstalled atf/coolant heat exchanger and new atf lines.

Also curious if you know where you can get a core for radiator. Few good radiator shops left in Denver. last one I used that has been around for many years was terrible.

Which fitting and hose? I got the 2 atf lines and 2 water filter lines from Prevost. The rest of the hoses came from siliconehose.com after I got all the measurements.

The radiator shop I dealt with here gives a core manufacturer? all the specs, they build it, and my local shop gets it puts it together. Takes about 5to7 working days. Cost with labor $3200

or

Prevost quoted me a price of $3300 for a core, they need 3 wks led time. Then a shop has to put it together.

or

Prevost quoted me $5200 for a complete radiator, they need 1 month led time. I’m not sure how much more labor is involved in this option?

How much trans fluid did you lose replacing the trans lines?

2 gallons

1 gallon initially, then maybe another gallon over the 7 days it sat and dripped without any lines on it.

If I read your post correctly, the trans lines were ordered/purchased from Prevost, so no big hoops to jump through there.

I assume the gal or two of oil loss didn’t require special air purging. Would guess it cleared itself.

Asking because those lines being replaced are on my bucket list.

Yes, atf lines came from Prevost.

I have no plans for any special purging of the atf lines. The tranny has a positive displacement pump in it and it will force atf thru the lines.

All coolant valves will be open to purge air.
