    Truk,

I recently got one from MilUSA. 1-800-527-4498 and they also have a website. Expensive ($195, I think) I can pull the invoice if you want the exact amount, but it seemed the best alternative for me. Unless you find some dealer that happens to have one left, I believe they are the only option in the US. The lady I spoke with was very knowledgeable about our showers and the problems they develope over time. It arrived quickly in a 60″ tube. Can’t believe I had information you didn’t already know.

    Tom,

We have these. $150.99 I think. I’ll confirm price Monday and give you a call.

i see your shower is not polished brass. Did you paint it nickel or did it come that way? Reason for asking is that we want to change to a venetian bronze

    Chip,

Newell Coach makes the locks at their facility in Oklahoma. Just call their parts department, 1-888-363-9355. $150 each and work really well. I lock my shower open when traveling which provides greater support for the door and avoids the inevitable sag in the support area where the door hangs when closed for a shower.

    Hi George –

Can you post a picture of your shower door with the lock? Our door only has a pin that goes through the bottom of the door into the track that secures it in place in a closed position.

    Thanks,

    June

Sure, I will get a picture this weekend and post. My coach had the same set up to hold closed on the top.

Lock 1Sorry that took so long Donald. I had trouble with posting. I posted from the phone and they were properly oriented on there.

    George –

Thank you for posting the pictures. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words – makes it easier to understand how the lock works!

I should have said what the pictures don’t convey is how snug the door is locked down. With this lock there is virtually no movement. With the pin lock my door would wiggle and rattle a bit.

I like George’s door lock, mine is just a simple pin. I have the door off working on replacing the roller plastic (the one made of gold) and some new caulking, so don’t give me any crap about the green towel.
