Im sure this is obvious but if you have a 5 year old like I do, make sure the dimmers are turned all the way up AND your lighting master is on! That “lighting master” will drive me crazy. I never use it, my wife uses it all the time.

Next I would look in the computer bay (driver side second bay). As the switches are turned on and off you should see indicator diodes light up which have corresponding relays below them in the bank of relay interface boards. Get a bright flashlight and make sure the relay contacts are moving (if the relays are clear).

Its kind of odd that all the lights are not working. Ive had relays give up that had to be swapped and relay interface boards that went bad too. Never had a light issue go further than that on my coach.

If you have an Elegant Lady the problem may be as simple as a bad relay.

If you have a Classic it could be a fuse. Tell us what you have and we can help.

Thanks for the suggestions, I will check them out, I think I know which relays you are talking about they are chear squair ones mounted to the left of the fuse compartment right?

It is a Classic 45 XL I did see some of the clear relays and some relays the looked like a starter solenoid from a old ford and a heck of alot of fuses.

If it is a Classic you either have burned out light bulbs or a bad fuse or circuit breaker. It could be other things like a switch or terminal connection or bad wire, but likely it is a bulb or fuse.

All fuses are in the second bay, driver’s side on the LH bulkhead. If you find the wire number at the light fixture you can find the fuse or breaker will have the number next to it. The system may also have a relay but start with the simple stuff.

Mine went out 4-5 years ago. And it ended up being the 4 post relay. There are two of them in that bay. One for the Tivoli and one for the house lights. Do Your tivoli lights still work ?

Yes the Tivoli lights work, I do remember replacing that relay a year ago, It looked like a solenoid and after I replaced it all was fine, it was not a clear one though. I wil check the other one and see if it’s bad

Hi Darrel, I believe it’s probably one of the ford starter solenoid looking master relay/solenoids in the 2nd driver side bay as pictured below. One of them is the master for the ceiling lights, the other for the tivoli lights. They are a common failure and should be replaced every 5 or 10 yrs. I’ve replaced most all of my bulbs w/LEDs that don’t require much current, so my ceiling light master relay should last much longer, because the contacts aren’t be cooked by a lot of current anymore.

The original Halogen G4 bulbs make a lot of heat and use a lot of energy.

Back when I converted my bus ceiling light fixtures, I found some bulbs with 15 LEDs that put out 260 lumens. I don’t think you’ll be happy with anything less than the 12 LED bulb I’ve listed below? I like the warm white color, 3000k. Here are some links:

always good to see your posts. I had tried a few of the G4 direct replacements and do not care for the way they illuminate / cast light + the lights that fit nicely up in the socket are really low power.

Thanks for all the help, I replaced the solanoid and all is well, great photos also and I did get two for spairs. I will order the LED lights and thanks for the pictures on how to modify the housings to except the new bulbs.
