I know we missed a great time.. wished we could have made it.. enjoyed the last ones we went to so much …. glad everyone had such a good time. Safe travels & see you all in April.

It is a good thing Tom has friends who tolerate his ways. After the auction was over, he made an offer on a Harley that had not been sold at auction. I think he was really surprised when the owner accepted his offer. Now Tom has a problem, he needs to get the Harley and his golf cart home. Now his friend Tim just happens to have a trailer at the auction. But Tim has a golf cart to get home also.
Now Tom disappears for a couple of hours doing the paperwork on the Harley. While he is gone Tim discovers his awning won’t retract. He also has to get the trailer ready to load a Harley and two golf carts. Trailer is not really long enough, not enough straps and Tom is no where to be found. So, eventually all problems are solved, and this is the end result.
There was talk of adding a rocking chair for Nancy to sit on to keep an eye on the Harley for Tom (Beverly Hillbillies?), but she did not like that idea. I wonder if Tim will ever go to another auction with Tom?
P.S. Heard that they all made it home safe and sound and that Tom was already taken the Harley apart. Guess he has a new project to keep him busy. Have fun Tom.

It was very difficult keeping these two out of the beer long enough to get everything strapped down. As you can see, I was in the lawn chair waiting for them to get the strapping done so I could leave. C’mon guys it’s getting hot.
So then Tim tells me I’m going to owe him big time for all this PIA work, but he didn’t know he was about to owe me big time and my debt would be cleared.
When the trailer was loaded, Tim says his POS Zip Dee air awning wouldn’t retract and he had done all the steps to trouble shoot. So I, the highly paid technician, walked over to the awning, picked up the remote and ran the awning in no problem.
At that point, we were even because I gave him a credit on my hourly rate so I wouldn’t hear the moaning and groaning.
The worse part of the whole deal was Andre walking around telling us we didn’t know our asses from a hole in the ground and if he became more involved, we would have to cough up some cash. These Prevost people are relentless.

You’ll notice in the pic that there are only three coaches left at the event. The rest of heard that Tom bought a Harley and made sure we were on the road at 5 AM Sunday.

I keep hoping Tom would break down and start sharing the dues money with me, but here we go again. He gets the Harley, I get nothing.
And I thought Tim and Andre were friends, but obviously they are working with Tom helping him get the loot home.

I had accumulated a pile of dues dollars, but gave them to Carlisle and then had to tip Tim and Andre. Besides, Jon said his safe was full, no more room.
