  • Carbon Monoxide detector

Posted by Sid on July 6, 2014 at 10:10 pm

My carbon monoxide detector went off today try to reset it and no luck. Then i thought it might be a low battery so i took it apart and the is no battery it’s hard wired. So where would i go to find a replacement? Mine is in the kitchen right above the sink in a 06 Marathon H3. I unpluged the wires just to shut that alarm off.

A few years back I was able to get replacement from Amazon.com. I do not know if they would have the exact unit you are looking for – but it is easy to look.

    Good luck!

Why don’t you take it outside the bus and see if it still Alarms, maybe you have a real problem.

Just finished putting a new carbon monoxiced unit in. They told me that they are only good for 6 years brfore the go out. I found one at our local RV parts store for $860 the nice thing it matches the one I took out. Now I’m ready to roll to Texas.

Sid, a bus replacement part under $100 bucks, that has to be some kind of a record.
