Carbon Monoxide Alarm
Parked the coach inside my warehouse for the first time in 2 years. Plugged into good 50 amp service, none of the breakers inside the coach are off. The Carbon Monoxide Alarm is screaming every 15 seconds and flashing Red/Green which means low voltage according to this device and the manual. Dummy me, I don’t know where to start.

Does that detector have a battery backup? If so it may need to be replaced.

There doesn’t seem to be any battery backup. After taking the alarm off the bottom of the kitchen cabinets, there are 2 only wires that disappear behind the scenes.

It is probably just time to replace it. They do have a limited life span. To check the voltage, just remove it and get to the wires behind it and measure the voltage that is getting to the detector. I will bet that the voltage is OK and the unit just needs replacing.

I bet on needing replacement. They have a 5 year or 10 year life and they
squak at the end of life..

Yep, 10-years. I replaced mine two months ago.

Same thing last year. Replaced it. Fixed.
