    We will visit Prince Edward Island after Canadian Thanksgiving – the day 100% of campgrounds on the island shut down. I emailed the local tourism office and several campground owners for advice. We had wanted to be in Charlottetown area.

    Tourism office near there said I could spend the week in their parking lot.

    Owners of a really nice park in Charlottetown said they would be in Florida but would tell the caretakers that we could camp and use the hook-ups — Done Deal!

    Another owner emailed and said that if nothing else worked, he would find me something.

    Go Canada!
