  • Campground Recommendation – Omaha, NE

Posted by Brady on June 14, 2013 at 4:05 pm

Does anyone have any suggestions for accomodations in and around Omaha, NE in close proximity to the TD Ameritrade Stadium for the College Baseball World Series that starts this weekend?

    Tks,

I lived in Omaha, Ne till June 2007 before we owned our Bus. There was a small campground in Bellevue next to the Missouri River, Haworth (?) but the last I heard it had flooded badly and I don’t know that it ever reopened. That said, there is a small city campground, in Papillion a southside location that is really quite nice. Not a large park. I had no problems with my 40′ 2 yrs ago when last we visited old friends. It is adjacent to the 370 bypass off I-80 from Lincoln, and very easy to the stadium. The park’s name, Walnut Creek and is the rvparkreviews.com……somewhat limited, but to my best recollection, very nice in its minimalistic way. If you are there, stop in to Hector’s Baja Mexican restaruant on Pacific….great food. Good friend. Enjoy
