    I had a Blue 67 that I put a 396 425 hp and a 68 Z28 and a 69 ss 350 that I put a Art Car built 400 turbo trans in. I wished I still had them at least the 68 Z28. Oldest son has a ZL1 650 hp

The very first car that I drove on the street was a 1969 Z/28 Camaro. A bonafide, 302ci, Muncie close-ratio real deal. A guy in high school had one. I traded him free lunches for a week (I was the ticket puncher) for a ride and a drive. The drive was “in town” so I didn’t get out third gear. But I’ll never forget listening to those solid lifters as I wound the car through first and second.

Always wanted one … but “my price” seemed to be $5000 to $10,000 behind the market as they have appreciated in value.

BTW … the car had been ordered from the factory by the guy and his Dad. It was ordered with electric windows.

I had an 86 and a 94, but those late-sixties Camaro convertibles might be my favorite car.

    Had a 67 RS, 68 SS 350, and a 73 Z28. Along with them a 69 Mach 1 428 CJ and a 71 Mach 1 429 CJ, sure wish I had a crystal ball back then…………

Never took many pictures of my cars, never thought about it. My buddy growing up still has his car from high school , that what my 68 looked like, this car has around 40,000 miles on it, should have kept mine, could not afforded it back then in high school.
