  • Bus manuals on computer

Posted by Roscoeapproved on December 8, 2017 at 6:04 pm

I would really like to stop carrying the large tote full of manuals in the coach. I was wondering if anyone has put their hard copy bus manuals on cd or thumb drive. Just looking at the stack of manuals it seems like it would be a daunting task to do this by hand scanning everything. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do this or how to seek professional service to have this done that wouldn’t cost an arm and a leg. Thanks, Jeff

Whatever hard copies of owner’s manuals I could accumulate I have in the coach. The advantage to me of having paper copies is I can make notes and if I want to have it next to me while I am laying on the kitchen floor I don’t care if it gets a little dirty or I drop a tool on it.

But the vast majority of manuals are not readily available ranging from the Prevost shop manual to manuals covering everything from the disc brake system to Norgrens so I have those bookmarked. Over time I find less need to go to those unless I am getting into something I never encountered.
