Bus frndly Engine rebuild mechanic in Reno/Sparks
Hi, not sure if general Discussions is the correct category (admins feel free to move to correct one if its not).
My 1981 Le Mirage radiator fan flew off and penetrated the radiator, this resulted in engine overheating (Detroit 8V92)and shutting down. I got the radiator re-cored and fixed…. BUT I am now in need of an engine “rebuild” So I am looking for any leads/suggestions/recommendations to a bus friendly mechanic in the Sparks/Reno NV area.

If you can get the bus there they can have an engine built and waiting for you when you arrive. Installation in a couple of days. In generally costs less than an in frame rebuild would have cost. I believe they can also build an engine and ship it anywhere. Great business that specializes in Detroit’s.
